• Recent Cold Spell
  With the recent cold spell came hundred's of questions about what to do with their outdoor systems. Do not be overly concerned unless the temperature stays below freezing for more than 24 hours straight. If you do have some concern or the temperature is going to be extreme for an extended period of time you can wrap or throw a blanket over the system until the weather improves.

• Sprinkler Backflow Damage
  Additionally, the cold weather has been "popping" the backflow device on sprinkler lines. This is not related to the water softener in any way. The backflow device should be drained and then wrapped in cold weather to prevent damage.
